This course will provide the student with opportunities to explore the State Parks of South Carolina utilizing a variety of different methods. We will hike at a State Park and help the park by cleaning a trail or conducting general maintenance on a trail. We will bring in guest speakers from the State Park system, such as a Park Ranger, to provide us with information on activities and events at the parks. We will also utilize the State Park website to explore the 47 State Parks in South Carolina.
